Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Bethlehem, PA.

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of MRI procedures to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions.
- Prepare MRI exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and request accurate clinical history as necessary for exams.
- Review patient history and determine appropriate MRI protocols.
- Explain examination methods, position patients, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Ensure the quality of MRI images and coordinate the preparation of images / exams for physician review.
- Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
- Monitor MRI equipment performance, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- ARRT (MR) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Valid Pennsylvania state license in MRI Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work flexible and variable shifts.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols.
- Excellent technical skills in operating MRI equipment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.
- Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
