Fidelity Building Services Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Director to join our growing team in Hunt Valley, MD .

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the organization's goals.

They will have a strong understanding of employer relations, data analytics, and process improvement, coupled with a consultative and service-oriented approach.

Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and working with multi-location organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Apply strong critical thinking skills to solve complex HR issues, make informed decisions, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline HR processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall employee experience.
  • Cultivate strong, positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, ensuring open communication and a supportive work environment.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development, encouraging employees to grow their skills and advance their careers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing business needs, remain flexible in approach, and support a dynamic work environment.
  • Emphasize a service-oriented mindset in all HR activities, prioritizing the needs of employees and the organization.
  • Provide HR expertise and support during M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and change management.
  • Oversee HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in HR policies and practices while addressing location-specific needs.
  • Partner with operating companies and connect with business leaders and department heads to align HR initiatives with business needs and objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of employer relations, HR analytics, and process improvement.
  • Excellent consultative skills with the ability to influence and guide decision-making.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Confident and assertive, yet open-minded and approachable.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Highly adaptable and able to flex to the needs of the business.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating a supportive and enjoyable work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
