Sr. Accountant

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to support month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. This is a contract opportunity with potential for extension. The role requires a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS, with hands-on experience in general ledger management and accounting best practices.

3 month assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Journal Entries & Reconciliation
  • Prepare journal entries with detailed supporting documentation in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations, assessing balances critically to ensure correct accounting treatment.

Month-End Close Process

  • Assist in general ledger close activities, including the Oracle close process.
  • Prepare journal entries prior to month-end close to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
  • Review non-recurring journal entries to determine appropriate classification and accounting treatment.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations).
  • Experience with Oracle or other enterprise accounting systems preferred.

    • Pay Details : $43.00 per hour
