EEE Trucking CDL Driver
Schmidt Construction, part of the Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies, is seeking a CDL Driver to work at our Colorado Springs location in CO.
The CDL Driver maneuvers the vehicle to properly load, transport, and apply material.
Pay : $24-28
Shift / Schedule : Days

Principal Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Checking and maintaining fluid levels
- Maneuvering vehicle to properly load, transport, and apply material
- Observing loading operation to ensure correct material, proper weight and proper distribution of material
- Getting vehicle weighed and processing appropriate paperwork
- Writing up or communicating repair requests to mechanics
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle
- Maintaining records and logs
- Properly handling breakdowns and accidents
- Provides basic maintenance of vehicle
- Also assists with other given tasks
Qualifications (Skills, knowledge, experience)
- Valid driver's license with excellent driving record
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must have a valid CDL with Tanker & HazMat endorsements, or the ability to obtain one
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Using hands and feet to move levers and depress pedals
- Sitting for extended period of time
- Climbing on and into vehicle
- Working outside for extended periods of time
