About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Imaging - Diagnostic Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night - 5x8 - 23 : 00 - 07 : 30, 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT experience License : Active IEMA (IL) Certifications : ARRT (CT), BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited CT program- Competent in routine CT procedures Job Description : Facility is accredited in CT imaging.
- 333-bed, Level 1 trauma center with Magnet designation and Primary Stroke Center capabilities.- 1 : 1 patient care ratios for diverse patient types including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department.
- Candidates can expect 1-2 days of orientation on the unit based on comfort level.- Required uniform : Caribbean Blue scrubs.
- Perform routine CT procedures independently including chest, abdomen / pelvis, pulmonary embolism, brain, and head scans.
- Conduct portable exams in the emergency department and other inpatient units.- Work collaboratively with ancillary support and another CT Technologist.
- Expect to handle volumes of approximately 10-12 exams in an 8-hour shift with some staffing overlap available for assistance.
