We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Response Nurse to play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and responding to urgent clinical situations across the hospital.

This leadership position requires someone who is calm under pressure, independent in decision-making, and excellent at communication and collaboration.

You will be a key resource for clinical teams, working closely with the Administrative Director and building strong relationships with providers.

Shift : 12 hour night shift 7-7 : 30

Schedule : full time and part time flexible self-scheduling

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary responder to MSET, Rapid Response, STEMI, inpatient Stroke Alerts, and Trauma Activations.
• Collaborate with providers and escalate care as needed to ensure patient outcomes.
• Assist with assessments, mentoring, and provide expert advice to clinical staff.
• Respond to MEWS and high-risk patient calls, providing real-time critical support.
• Round on high-risk patients and assist with sepsis screening and rapid response reassessments.
• Facilitate clinical debriefs and closed-loop communication for continuity of care.

Qualifications :

• RN with advanced critical care or emergency care required.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Strong critical thinking, quick prioritization, and independent decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead without formal authority.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of critical care or emergency room RN experience preferred
• Education : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. - If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC preferred or obtained prior to end of orientation
