Job Description
The Corporate Website Management team operates as an internal agency within the Performance Marketing department. The Performance Marketing department is responsible for branding, advertising and strategy for JPMorgan Chase & Co.
JPMC) and oversees the J.P. Morgan (JPM) brand. The CWM team supports Corporate Responsibility, the Foundation, and The Institute among other corporate functions, including multiple JPMC digital channels (jpmorganchase.com, jpmorgan.com, etc.).
As a Corporate Website Web developer on the Performance Marketing team you will report to the Technology Manager of CWM, JPMC's internal digital agency.
You will be responsible for implementation of the web experience for CWM, assisting with all projects and delivering quality web experiences.
Job Responsibilities :
- Building user interfaces for our digital properties through Adobe Experience Manager and / or latest JavaScript frameworks, such as React
- Working from supplied Figma wire frames and functional requirements to interpret existing design elements and build web interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and work with technology teams to integrate with back-end systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving cross-browser and cross-platform support issues.
- Optimizing web sites for maximum speed and scalability
- Managing day-to-day efforts to ensure smooth & efficient website updates including production updates, trafficking assets, code changes, and collaborating on new initiatives
- Working with IT / Development teams for build projects - requirements gathering and ongoing maintenance of all websites
- Collaborating with other front and back-end Developers
- Remaining current with the latest digital design trends and tools
- Handling production work, as needed, to meet project deadlines
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
- Strong foundation in front end web development
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5 (required)
- In-depth knowledge of CSS3 (required) and CSS pre-processors (SASS / Less preferred)
- Extensive experience with JavaScript ( ES6+ required )
- JQuery and / or TypeScript experience a plus
- Understanding of MVC or MVVC architecture
- Experience creating models and / or services in Java (11+) or similar (C#, JavaScript, etc)
- Experience with JavaScript web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (React preferred)
- Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Experience with Node.js 16+
- Experience with Webpack 4 / 5
- Solid understanding of implementing responsive designs
