Inventory & Demand Planning Manager
The Inventory and Demand Planning Manager will be pivotal in guiding our organization's strategic inventory and supply chain initiatives.
This leadership role encompasses directing the Demand Planning Team while actively engaging in day-to-day demand planning efforts.
You will be the functional expert, facilitating SIOP for significant business units, improving collaborations to optimize business outcomes, and overseeing comprehensive inventory management, including SLOB handling, new SKU introductions, and end-of-life processes.
This position promises a dynamic work scope aimed at establishing and leading advanced planning techniques to bolster operational efficiency and accuracy across various organizational facets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead the Demand Planning Team while managing daily operational requirements of demand planning.
- Act as the primary facilitator for SIOP execution across key business units and streamline collaboration for optimal outcomes.
- Manage comprehensive inventory guidance and oversight throughout the organization, including handling SLOB, managing new SKU introduction, and overseeing end-of-life process.
- Drive central inventory analytics and optimization aligning with the weekly, monthly, and quarterly business cadence.
- Provide oversight to organizational inventory targets and preside over critical inventory-centric discussions and decisions.
- Distribute regular inventory updates to the Leadership Team and operation sites, ensuring transparency and timely communications.
- Guide a world-class forecasting and SIOP process development within the team of Demand Planners.
- Lead the use and best practice dissemination of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools within the demand forecasting modules to foster continuous process improvements.
- Drive SIOP meeting discussions to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
- Offer analytical support during the demand planning processes to ensure process consistency and accuracy.
- Compile executive summaries and action items from monthly SIOP meeting notes for strategic review and follow-up.
- Monitor and enhance forecast accuracy KPIs, instigating necessary actions to improve forecasting performance.
- Engage with business units for the creation of material objects and realignment of sales history, enhancing data integrity and operational insights.
- Conduct ongoing IBP training for users, ensuring comprehensive understanding and optimized utilization of the planning systems.
- Lead specific SIOP and demand planning activities as assigned, catering to unique operational needs.
- Engage in broader supply chain and business operations initiatives, representing the Supply Chain department's interests and strategies.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory management roles.
- Proven analytical prowess in process / data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes, including inventory, capacity planning, demand, supply planning, and materials management.
- Proficiency in SAP, with extensive experience in using advanced planning and scheduling tools like SAP-IBP.
- Strong capability in influencing and guiding stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrated track record in handling analytical data and conducting in-depth analytical analyses.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Advanced degrees or certifications related to supply chain management or operational analytics.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a multinational business environment.
- Expertise in additional SCM software tools and platforms, complementing SAP and SAP-IBP knowledge.
- Previous roles with direct responsibility over large inventory portfolios and complex demand planning scenarios.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing SIOP and IBP across diverse business units.
