Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available in Channelview, TX
Job Description : We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Channelview, TX.
This vital role focuses on assessing and treating students with speech and language disorders, facilitating their munication abilities to support their educational and social success.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and adaptive professional with a deep understanding of speech therapy practices in a school setting.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate students for speech, language, cognitive-munication, and swallowing disorders.
- Design and implement prehensive treatment plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educational professionals, parents, and caregivers to integrate therapy with educational goals.
- Document therapy sessions, track progress, and adjust treatment plans based on student responses and needs.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas state licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to motivate and educate.
