Crew Member Position Summary :
The Landscape Crew member performs a variety of landscaping tasks under the close supervision of the Operations Manager. Daily work may be performed at, commercial properties, parks, etc.
A daily work schedule is created by the Operations Manager.
Crew Member Responsibilities :
- Cuts grass (using either a riding or push mower), maintains lawn, trims and edges around trees, walkways, flower beds, walls, and markers.
- Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, and twigs and removes weeds.
- Sprays lawn, shrub, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.
- Applies mulch as needed
- Clears debris and maintains driveways and walkways in safe condition
- Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shear
- Assists with the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and / or merchandise.
- Cleans and properly stores equipment.
- Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
- Must use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May be called upon to drive a truck with equipment and crew to all the work locations.
- Install & Construction employees specialize in installing plants, flowers and bushes according to a predetermined landscape design.

- Assist with site set up of plant materials
- Keeps job site staging area clean and organized
- Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
- Use all installation tools according to company safety policy
- Maintains, cleans, and properly stores equipment.
- Other duties as required.
Crew Member Qualifications :
- 1-3 years Landscape maintenance experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
- Valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record a plus
