Allegiant Manufacturing, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Gallatin, Tennessee, has an opportunity for a Stamping Supervisor.
The desired candidate must have advanced metal stamping knowledge from set up of dies and presses to the operation of single stroke, transfer die stamping and progressive die stamping.

Essential Functions of the Job :
- Ability to set up and troubleshooting dies
- Manage the entire shift, which includes stamping and assembly personnel
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Interprets company policies to staff and enforces safety regulations.
- Interpret specification and job orders to department associates and assigns duties.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Analyses and resolves work problems or assists department associates in solving work problems.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate department associates to achieve work goals.
- Maintains time and production records and schedules overtime as needed.
Qualification Requirements :
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience supervising a minimum of 10 production associates, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
- Extensive metal stamping knowledge and experience
Education and / or Experience :
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of four years to ten years related experience and / or vocational training.
Mathematical Skills :
Practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, measurement, practical algebra, geometric construction and essentials of trigonometry.
Ability to read and interpret metal rule, caliper and micrometer.
Language Development :
Ability to speak with poise with individual employees or small groups of employees, using voice control, confidence, a well-modulated voice and correct English.
Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
