Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Trauma Therapist to join our trauma-focused mental health clinic. The Trauma Therapist must be certified in a recognized trauma modality and will work under the guidance of the Clinical Director.

As a Trauma Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care to adult clients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver specialized therapeutic interventions for individuals who have experienced trauma, ensuring that all care is grounded in empirically validated practices. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, holistic treatment across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct Client Care

• Provide individual and / or group therapy to clients who have experienced trauma, using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or other trauma based curriculum.
• Conduct comprehensive trauma assessments to identify trauma history, symptom severity, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific trauma experiences, ensuring ongoing evaluation and adjustment of goals.
