Software Engineer
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.
S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.
S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES :
As a software engineer for the GDMS team, you'll be a member of a cross functional team.
What sets you apart :
- Knowledgeable of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum, and possess the ability to adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Experience with conducting software tests for complex, large-scale projects, with an aptitude for managing multiple testing efforts concurrently
- Skilled in designing and executing test plans that thoroughly address and validate application requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively to ensure software quality standards are met
- Strong attention to detail, capable of identifying and documenting application defects
- Proficient in Python programming with hands-on experience utilizing Selenium to design and implement automated testing solutions
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems
- Comfortable providing technical leadership
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

Target salary range : USD $90,737.80 / Yr. - USD $100,662.20 / Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.
