About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 07 : 00-19 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : To Be Determined Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Must-Have : Ability to read telemetry strips Job Description : Work in a high-energy unit with a supportive team of fellow RNs and ancillary staff.
- Provide care to post-operative surgical patients, including those on cardiac medication drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem, as well as heparin drips.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 5 : 1, ensuring individualized care and attention to each patient.- Utilize remote telemetry equipment to monitor patient status effectively.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in MediTech EMR.- Exhibit a hard-working attitude, bringing energy and a fun personality to work every day.
