Housekeeper

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in non-occupied patient rooms. This includes managing linen by placing it into heavy bags and disposing of it properly. You will also need to clean isolation rooms, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols, including wearing a full gown and mask, and thoroughly mopping and cleaning these spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Clean non-occupied patient rooms and handle linens.
  • Lift and manage heavy linen bags.
  • Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures.
  • Mop and sanitize entire rooms while adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Punctuality and reliability in working required hours and shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and team members.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to handle difficult interactions.
  • Ability to push up to 200lbs.
  • Minimum of 6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning / housekeeping experience.

    Work Environment

    The position is set in a hospital environment, requiring adherence to health and safety protocols. Candidates may need to work every weekend and must be comfortable in a setting that demands attention to detail and cleanliness.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yukon, Oklahoma.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00 / hr.
