Below are some of the responsibilities the .NET Developer may be expected to assume in their position :

• Contribute to requirements gathering meetings
• Review and analyze user stories, features and epics, along with acceptance criteria
• Understand Definition of Done
• Contribute to sprint planning, poker story point estimation
• Regularly provide demonstration of code to customers, in additional to sprint reviews
• Provide consistent sprint story point estimation as well as maintaining agile velocity
• Design for new components
• Utilize design patterns
• Provide daily scrum work process status
• Create, build, and deliver quality, secure code using development tools for the user stories assigned to them
• Unit test code delivered, using automated scripts or manual execution
• Conduct peer code reviews in a professional manner
• Adhere to project coding standards
• Maintain all product artifacts in version control
• Support configuration management locally and in other environments
• Support release builds and deployments, contributing to automation where applicable
• Verify code is ADA compliant, secure, and will meet performance requirements and other non-functional requirements of the project
• Support testing activities
• Support deployments into production
• Support Tier 2 troubleshooting
• Fixes defects
• Must attempt to understand the customer, to be in their shoes, in order value the importance of the product being delivered
• Must take care of and encourage other team members
• Must deliver software that meets or exceeds customer expectations, verified during sprint reviews

The Must-Haves : To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.

• Must currently reside in the US.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology major (Or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum of 4 or more years of relevant technical or business work experience
• 4+ years' experience in developing web-based applications in C# .NET
• 4+ years' experience with object-oriented development techniques such as : Microsoft.Net, Model view controller (MVC), NuGet, Git and Entity Framework
• 3+ years' experience in programming with MS SQL Server
• 4+ years' experience in web development leveraging Javascript, XML, HTML and CSS
• Experience using code repositories.
• Experience using continuous integration tools.
• Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs
• Knowledge of database security, including role-based security.
• Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design / specifications and assigned application software systems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Skills / Experience : The experience listed below are preferred for this job

• Experience with Cloud Technologies : Spring Cloud, AWS, and GCP
• Industry Certifications (eg AWS, Azure, Security+)
• Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML)
• Familiarity with Agile development, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
