We are seeking an energetic, skilled ​ Quality Control - In-line Tech - 2nd shift (2pm-10pm ) - for openings in our facility in Ark City, Kansas. HOURS : 40 hours per week (5-6 days per week)This is a 24 / 7 facility — weekend availability is required. . • Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPak.
• Participate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth. Sample product and ensure quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluation Sample packaging and ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinations Ensure proper labeling and packaging formats Ensure proper processing through checking and recording parameters REQUIREMENTS : Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Detail Oriented Honesty / Integrity Reliability Accountability Take the extra mile Serve as a team member Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information Ability to work well under pressure EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : High School / GED required 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment preferred Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Working extended periods of time standing Excellent communication skills and working as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts and extended work days Six months to one year in food industry experience preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
