Job Information
The Hydraulic Test Engineer will devise, set up, and conduct laboratory and field tests of newly developed and existing products, translate technical guidance received from the supervisor and product design personnel into useable data applicable to a particular engineering assignment, as well as Coordinate activities of contract personnel, co-ops, and technicians in gathering data and conducting tests.

Role & Responsibility
Hydraulic Testing :
- Train with current personnel and industry experts in hydraulic testing, data acquisition, and analysis.
- Install test instrumentation and program data acquisition systems for customized testing.
- Evaluate the performance, durability, and reliability of hydraulic components and systems on all Bobcat equipment.
- Independently execute full vehicle field testing by operating all Bobcat Equipment.
- Interpret hydraulic schematics, test standards, and other technical information to facilitate testing.
- Execute laboratory endurance testing on hydraulic components.
- Conduct data analysis and serve as a technical advisory on hydraulic testing.
- Complete technical writing for test documentation and report out communications.
Additional Responsibilities
- Structural fatigue life analysis through internal life prediction methods.
- Laboratory fatigue testing of components aided by damage comparison tools.
- Product specifications and performance testing for marketing and sales literature.
- Preparation and ongoing review of products for durability testing at proving grounds.
- Cooling performance testing.
- Coordinate tests and communicate status with product design engineers.
- Make recommendations regarding product design, materials, or other specifications based on test results and sound engineering principles and theories.
- Work with contract test laboratories.
Job Requirement
- Education Required : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering- General, Mechanical, Agricultural
- Experience Required : 0-2+ years
- Travel Required
- Strong applied mechanical and engineering skills and a willingness to use them.
- Experience with operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
- Experience with test and validation methods preferred.
- Understanding of the theory and design of Company products.
- Promote safe workplace activities from equipment operation to day-to-day activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Competency with MS Office Suite.
