THE JOB :

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction within Housekeeping.

Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and dedication to excellence contribute to the overall success of the housekeeping department.

THE DAY-TO-DAY :

Staff Supervision : Assist in supervising and coordinating the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeeping aides, and laundry personnel.

This involves assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.

Training and Development : Help train new housekeeping employees and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to existing staff.

Ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards.

Inventory Management : Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.

Ensure that storage areas are organized and stocked efficiently.

Quality Assurance : Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to enforce quality standards and ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Guest Relations : Address guest concerns and inquiries related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

Safety and Compliance : Assist in implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

2 years of experience in Housekeeping Management, Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Manager

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT :

Familiarity with housekeeping equipment, and industry-specific software systems.

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the housekeeping department of a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality establishment is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with staff, guests, and other departments.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts effectively.
