Fast growing Renewable Energy company seeks a self-motivated .NET Developer with an eye for detail, an ability to execute, while maintaining code performance, refactoring and self-engineered code refactoring.

Reporting to the Product Design Manager, the .NET Developer is a skilled professional who collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate the business requirements into code within the QE Solar software platform.

The right candidate employs their expertise to balance diverse project facets, including security and design, while also conducting research to stay abreast of advanced technologies, identifying and executing on cost-effective solutions.

The right candidate must be highly skilled in information technology and equipped with great problem-solving capabilities.

Fluency in .NET & SQL (Javascript & HTML is a plus). Their ultimate objective is to provide technical oversight on all developer activities ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards, business requirements and architectural directives.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :

• Daily technical oversight of devlopment activities.
• Provide detailed specifications, including sizing, for proposed solutions.
• Evaluate requirements to establish technical Conduct discovery calls meeting with stakeholders.
• Design and implement customized software and hardware solutions.
• Test the performance of the installed system and troubleshoot bugs.
• Design and build frameworks for unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Assist in the design and implementation of the technical architecture for our software products.
• Design with the understanding of impacts to database performance.
• Ensure software solutions are testable, scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
• Enforce software security.
• Lead backlog generation and efficiently assign technical tasks.
• Research and recommend emerging technologies.
• Participate in the development of technical roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing technical support and guidance to Development teams.
• Collaborate with the IT professionals to ensure hardware availability and proper functioning for projects.
• Support the Technology’s team with technical queries, bug fixes & enhancement requests in a timely manner.
• Support on call requirements through systems, processes and vendors for 99.99% uptime.

Knowledge :

• Proficient with technology and computing via a variety of cloud-based programs and data processing / technical / management software.
• Proficient with Mobile Applications IOS and Android.
• Familiarity with coding languages, operating systems, and databases, including in .NET and C#.
• Understanding of process optimization and deployment.
• Experience working with various infrastructure platforms.
• Ability to organize and prioritize critical projects.
• Interest in new and developing technologies.
• Willingness to work closely with various business units.

Skills :

• Worked with Jira (a plus), CRM systems and Microsoft suite.
• Strong customer service, professionalism and respect is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills with a knack for finding creative solutions.
• Solid understanding of IT topics.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

Required Education :

BS in Computer Science or other technical field preferred, or equivalent experience

Preferred Education : Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics

Required Experience :

• 3+ years of experience working in the software or information technology industry.
• 3+ years of experience in software development in .NET, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Swift iOS is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience designing, refactoring, implementing and testing a diverse set of software applications, platforms and technologies.

Preferred Experience :

• Experience in SQL Server relational database design and development or other database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in AWS cloud and GitHub source code.
• Experience with REST API.
• Experience within areas of platform architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies including CI / CD pipelines.
• Experience in Solar Renewable a plus.
• Expertise in balancing project needs, technical debt and innovation.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Required Certifications, Licensures, Etc. Must have clean background & driver’s license

Salary Range : $70,000 - $80,000 per year
