Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dredging Construction Quality Control Manager located in San Diego, CA. The Dredging Construction Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of dredging construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and inspecting dredging activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, preparing quality control reports, and coordinating with project managers and engineers to address any quality issues. The role also involves maintaining quality control documentation and facilitating communication between various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in dredging operations and construction quality control
• Knowledge of marine construction, heavy civil waterfront construction, and environmental improvements
• Strong understanding of project specifications, standards, and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with project managers and engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications in construction quality management are a plus
• Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA
