Job Summary / Company :
Sparks Group has partnered with a financial services company to find a Quality Engineering Specialist. As the Quality Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible to develop and execute test automation, aggregate various requirements into high quality automation testing of systems and endure all software is thoroughly tested prior to going to production.
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of related and demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using industry best practices.
- Convert manual test scenarios into automated test coverage across multiple products.
- Integrate automated testing into a DevOps architecture.
- Contribute to Agile and DevOps processes, championing best practices and tools.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications / Background Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in creation and execution of automated test scripting for software applications and / or systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with JIRA, qTest and Selenium / Java or comparable
- Experience with Confluence and SharePoint or comparable
- Experience in Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative development methodologies
