Pricing Analyst

JOB SUMMARY :

As a member of the corporate operations Team, the Pricing Analyst will report directly to the CCO and play a pivotal role in analyzing market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and internal data to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing initiatives and monitor their effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strategic and curious mindset.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct thorough analysis of market dynamics, including pricing trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies.
• Develop a contract database, pricing models and strategies based on market research and business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze pricing performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to implement pricing strategies that align with business goals.
• Conduct pricing experiments and analyze results to inform decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing decisions and strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pricing analytics and strategy.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in pricing analysis or related field, preferably in industry / sector .
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with pricing software / tools is a plus.
