Receptionist
OverviewExcellent opportunity for an experienced office worker / receptionist who has compassion for those needing help, who takes professional satisfaction in supporting co-workers, and who thrives in an environment that involves a variety of tasks.
Our Bloomington, IL location seeks a full-time receptionist. Position may require some weekend and evening hours. ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and visitors using trauma-informed communication and care and in a way that is courteous, respectful, and professional.
Answer multi-line telephone. Check and log voicemails. Answer basic questions about clinical services, paperwork, and agency processes in person and over the phone.
Administer and collect client intake paperwork. Ensure the safety of clients and visitors in waiting room, completing incident reports as necessary.
Support other departments with mail, photocopying, and printing. Enter data into various Microsoft programs. Maintain filing systems.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health / wellness, and spirituality / connectedness.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Beginner skills using Microsoft Word and Excel, with ability to learn other Microsoft Office products.
Intermediate computer and typing skills. Demonstrated business telephone etiquette and ability to use multiple-line phone system.
General knowledge of office routines, use of office equipment, clerical skills, data entry, and filing. Ability to work independently and to collaborate.
