The Cloud Security team at eBay is dedicated to designing, building, and managing critical, scalable security services that protect eBay's infrastructure without hindering developer efficiency.

What You Will Accomplish
- Collaborate with architects and product managers to gather and analyze requirements.
- Author software design documents to outline solutions.
- Develop high-quality code with a focus on test-driven development.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and alert systems to ensure service performance.Fix and resolve production issues, providing outstanding customer support.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver complete features from concept to deployment.
What You Will Bring
- B.S, M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 7+ years of proven experience and proficiency in one or more programming languages : Go, C++, or Java.
- Previous experience developing large-scale systems in SDN, Network Segmentation, or Security domain.
- Proficient in problem-solving, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and a solid foundation in core computer science concepts, including operating systems, networking, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience in developing and scaling complex systems, experience with database management and messaging systems.
- Experience on SDN technologies including Geneve or OVS / OVN or VxLAN.
- Proficiency and experience in Linux networking - TCP / IP, DNS, TIS, container networking, tunneling, proxies, gateways.
- Any experience in Kubernetes operator / controller development, service mesh technologies like Istio and Envoy are helpful.
