A law firm located in Braintree, MA is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with experience in complex business litigation.
This role involves significant responsibilities, including managing investigations, overseeing discovery processes, and conducting in-depth research and writing to support complex RICO and fraud litigation cases.
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to thrive in large-scale litigation environments.
Duties :
- Conduct thorough investigations related to litigation cases
- Oversee and manage the discovery process
- Perform extensive legal research and draft legal documents related to complex RICO and fraud cases
- Collaborate with senior attorneys in managing large-scale litigation matters
- Attend hearings, depositions, and court proceedings as needed
- Manage case files and ensure all deadlines and filings are timely and accurate
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in handling complex legal matters, especially related to RICO and fraud litigation
- Ability to manage large caseloads and maintain a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent research and writing skills
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications :
Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts (required)
Skills :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
