The Sr. ProductManager is responsible for defining regional requirements forSolarEdge products for the Community Commercial and Industrialsegments promoting those requirements to product management andR&D and orchestrating the resultant product launch withinthe region.
They are also responsible for identifying applicationsand markets for SolarEdge products in the region and working withSolarEdge customers to identify those applications and promoteSolarEdge s products.
Focus areas for thisposition will be Energy Storage applications integration of SolarEnergy Storage Site Loads and EV Charging with emphasis in Softwarefor monitoring controls and communication of plantassets.
Duties andResponsibilities :
- Definitionof new product and feature requirements in the North America CCISegment for Monitoring and Controls of Solar Storage building loadsby working with the regional commercial team customers andHeadquarters.
- Product launch plan the launch ofnew products and releases and manage the crossfunctionalimplementation of the plan
- Track and monitorcompetitive activity in the industry. Develop product positioningand messaging that differentiates SolarEdge products in themarket
- Sales enablement communicate the valueproposition of the products to the sales team and develop the salestools that support the selling process of your products.
developthe strategy and manage the marketing programs that drivedemand.
Educate and develop account managementstaff. Coach and motivate account group leaders to effectivelydevelop and motivate their direct reports.
Identify and recommendinternal and external trainingopportunities.

Requirements :
- BS in Engineering orequivalent required.
- 510 years experience inthe solar or storage industry working in Product Management orTechnical Marketing roles.
- Experience workingwith software and controls for renewable energyprojects.
- Experience in product management orapplications support for energy storage products andprojects.
- Electric power industry domainexperience with demonstrated understanding of renewable energyoperations
- Excellent industry knowledge ofcompetition market trends in the renewable energy industry withfocus on integration of PV energy storage EV charging and buildingloads.
- Knowledge of NEC and regulatory codesfor PV and Storage installations.
- Strongcommunication skills including listening and handling objectionsand complex discussions with Product ManagementTeam.
- Strong presentationskills.
- Strong time and project managementskills to proactively build trust and confidence as a remoteemployee.
- Product launch and businessdevelopment experience required.
- Experience incybersecurity is aplus.
