Description
We are expanding our 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Department and seeking dedicated Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team.
As a Registered Veterinary Technician in our ECC Department, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier veterinary care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill and injured animals.
- Assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, including triage, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by criticalists.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Qualifications :
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification required.
- 2-3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician, with experience in emergency and critical care preferred.
- Proficiency in performing nursing procedures, such as venipuncture, catheterization, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care and client service.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
