Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I / DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.
The individual is a 33 year-old woman in need of a caregiver to support her with prompting for personal care, swimming, and community outings.
She enjoys movies, bowling, swimming and going to eat at restaurants. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.
00 per hour Schedule : Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-2pm, days can be flexible You will be a good fit for this position if you : Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role : Supporting with personal care activities Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities Meal / snack preparation Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual on walks and riding his bike in the neighborhood Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization Complete daily progress notes Qualifications and Skills Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
