Position Overview :
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production test equipment to support new design projects and products, contributing to the company's growth.
It ensures the continuous operation of existing test systems to support timely delivery and quality of customer orders. The role involves individual contributions and collaborative work with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experiences
- Ideally 2 years of experience in a test environment performing electrical tests
- Experience with LabVIEW and Keysight VEE programming is required.
- Experience within the Aerospace industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with testing electronic assemblies.
- Must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with design engineering to develop and maintain Test Plans, Procedures, Reports, Acceptance Test Procedures, and ESS Procedures.
- Assist Production in resolving testing or ESS issues, including troubleshooting test equipment problems and resolving new product startup issues.
- Aid production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairing production test equipment.
- Coordinate with quality teams on the calibration of equipment used in test stands or systems.
- Analyze and evaluate production requirements for new or modified test equipment methods, processes, and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Participate in designing electronic or mechanical test equipment prototypes, ordering necessary parts and equipment, and completing relevant documentation.
- Assist quality teams in validating customer complaints on returned products under RMA / warranty.
- Verify and validate production test report results as needed.
- Coordinate the scheduling and testing of products at external labs, including transporting test equipment, monitoring tests, and reviewing test reports.
- Provide technical support to production personnel for releasing new test programs and procedures (hardware and software).
- Maintain software and firmware used in the company's battery and battery charger test systems, either personally or through coordination with third-party resources.
