Job Description

Our IT department is looking for a dedicated and service-oriented part-time IT Specialist to help support everyday hotel operations.

As an IT specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring hotel systems are working smoothly while using a various IT services, including software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating technology issues.
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to diagnose technical issues
  • Provide step-by-step instructions to fix technological issues
  • Provide backup solutions whenever necessary
  • Provide training sessions for new hardware or software products
  • Access instruction manuals to help users utilize their software or hardware properly
  • Keep detailed logs of client problems, solutions, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide instructions in simple terms
  • Work with outside vendors to ensure internal and building issues are attended to properly
  • Work together with Director of IT to find solutions to more complex issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Windows Server operating systems
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and InTune.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
