Full-time | Hybrid | New York City

About the Role

We’re seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the technical vision, execution, and infrastructure buildout of a next-generation blockchain ecosystem.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced engineering leader who can architect scalable systems, attract top technical talent, and drive secure, production-grade development in high-stakes environments.

You’ll be responsible for shaping the technology strategy, overseeing engineering operations, and ensuring world-class delivery across decentralized infrastructure, product integrations, and on-chain applications.

What You’ll Do

Own the Architecture : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure blockchain infrastructure across core platforms and partner ecosystems.
Build and Scale the Team : Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization that delivers excellence across infrastructure, protocol development, and user-facing applications.
Drive Technical Strategy : Integrate blockchain technologies into existing enterprise and financial systems, aligning innovation with business impact.
Deliver Secure Systems : Ensure systems meet the highest security, reliability, and performance standards through rigorous auditing, monitoring, and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with product and strategy teams to deliver seamless user experiences and decentralized solutions for large-scale adoption.
Lead Innovation : Stay at the forefront of blockchain and fintech advancements, applying emerging technologies to create competitive advantages.
Measure and Improve : Define engineering KPIs, track success metrics, and drive continuous improvement across performance and deployment velocity.

Who You Are

10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in leadership roles such as Head of Engineering , VP of Engineering , or Engineering Manager .

Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams within fintech , blockchain , or other high-performance technology organizations.

Deep understanding of distributed systems, blockchain architecture, and cryptographic principles.

Strong background in DevOps, CI / CD, infrastructure management, and systems reliability.

Familiarity with stablecoin ecosystems , digital wallets , or tokenomics is a plus.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.

Location : New York City

Compensation & Benefits

Salary : $250K–$400K
