About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Mid 4x10-Hour (1 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM), Monday through Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : - Must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in PACU with Level I trauma - 1-2 years of critical care experience - Must have ventilator experience License : Valid nursing license required Certifications : ACLS, PALS, and BLS Must-Have : - COVID-19 Vaccine : Required with proof of vaccination one week prior to start date (Booster not required) - Flu Vaccine status unknown Job Description : - Provide high-quality care to post-anesthesia patients in a PACU setting - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care standards - Adapt to various clinical settings;
may be requested to float to different units within a specified range - Compliance with immunization requirements - Participate in an orientation program - Follow scheduling guidelines, including restrictions on requested time off Additional Notes : - Floating : Clinicians may be floated to different units if required, within a 50-mile range, with two hours' notice before the shift - RTO (Requested Time Off) : Maximum of 5 days with no more than 2 consecutive, none allowed the day before or after a holiday, and not on weekends
