About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

1. Experience in telemetry or PCU unit

2. Proficient with Epic charting system

3. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 4-5

Description :

Minimum experience required is 1 year.

Patient population includes adults to geriatrics.

Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, dysrhythmias, hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues.

The average daily census in the unit is 35, with a capacity of 36 rooms.

Staffing ratio is 1 : 4-5.

Float requirements may apply, and weekend work is expected every other weekend.

Call requirements are not applicable.

For major holidays falling within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work.

Compliance with required documentation is essential to ensure timely onboarding.

Full compliance is required before starting work.

Travelers must demonstrate flexibility regarding assignments.

References from previous supervisory roles are preferred for review.

Travelers should be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without the need for titration.

Telemetry and non-invasive airway management skills are necessary.

Additional skills such as wound care and the administration of blood products will be essential.

This position will provide the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and help care for a diverse patient population.
