Travel Nurse (RN) - Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) - Indianapolis, Indiana - 902924

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical PCU 48's

Shift : Days / 7a-7 : 30p, 12x4, 48hrs per week

Length : 13 Weeks

Other details :

• Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline) : Not Required

Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12

Call-Ins : If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.

9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.

2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

Weekends : Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need

Charge coverage : Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

Certification Requirements : BCLS and ACLS; ONS Preferred

Skillset Preferences : Level 1 Trauma Experience and Oncology Experience

Skillet Requirements : Minimum 2 Year From A Large Urban or Academic Health Center

Floating Requirements : Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed

Staffing Ratios : 1 : 4

Unit Information : inpatient Hematology / Oncology and overflow Stem Cell Transplant patient population

Effective 9 / 1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted;

however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
