Our team islooking for an Electrician to join them. You will report to theElectrical Maintenance Supervisor and will have an onsite workschedule in East Aurora NY.
Education andSkills :
- High Schooldiploma or GED preferred. Otherwise demonstrated ability tounderstand and apply all verbal written and computer workinstructions or training in English and demonstrated ability toperform simple addition subtraction multiplication anddivision.
- Over 3 years broad knowledge of theelectrical field (installation of conduit systems feederstransformers motors VFDs and the operation of electrical controlcircuits).
- The ability to lift 60 pounds morewith assistance.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose problems repair and performmaintenance tasks on high and low voltage power distributionsystems including switch gear transformers panel boards groundfault equipment circuit breakers fuses and variable frequencydrives.
- Prepare Bill of Materials and maintainPower Schematics drawings up to date.
- Frequentuse of ladders scaffolds various hand and power tools specializedelectrical diagnostic equipment and working with energizedequipment of various voltages is required.
- Occasionally assist the other trades within the scope ofthe Electrical Maintenance Department.
- Use awide variety of measuring instruments such as a voltage testerohmmeter wattmeter etc.
- Work fromspecification and knowledge of N.E.C. and N.F.P.A 70e.
- Operate grinders saws pipe threaders drills pumps andwelders.
