TransForce is seeking a full-time CDL A driver in Birmingham, AL This job is offering $22 / hr.
More Info
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8am start time, 10-12 hour shifts
- You'll be driving a Day Cab with Dry Van hauling general packaging products
- Some unloading with a forklift or pallet jack may be required
- We are accepting applicants with 3+ months experience
Responsibilities
- Obtain packaging equipment and materials and deliver items to customers. Plan truck routes to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections on assigned vehicles, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor. Maintains clean truck, cab, and freight areas.
- Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
- Move materials safely, accurately, and promptly within the warehouse and trucks; record all material movements accurately on move sheets and / or wireless computer system on forklifts (when installed).
- Regularly assist with receiving materials. Manage paperwork, count and tag material, and put material away in the warehouse when needed.
- Maintain specified housekeeping zone and safely operate all equipment.
