CCRN, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have : Willingness to float to any campus- Flexibility to work in any critical care / acute care unit and function in any role, whether as a resource (CNA) or sitter if there are no RN needs on the scheduled unit Job Description : Provide nursing care for a general adult ICU patient population- Utilize equipment such as the Pyxis medication system and EPIC EMR- Work 12-hour shifts, either 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, including weekends- No mandatory on-call requirements- Potential floating to the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) or other areas, based on skill set and experience- Work with an eighteen-bed ICU and twenty-eight-bed IMCU- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 1 and 2 : 1 in ICU, 3 : 1 to 4 : 1 in IMCU- Dress code requires scrubs, which can be any color but must be clean and tasteful- Undergo department-specific training, including three 12-hour shifts for ICU orientation and one 4-hour shift for IMCU orientation following successful ICU training completion
