Qualifications :
- State of Connecticut E1 or E2 license required
- 3+ years professional experience
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Knowledge of Ethernet communication
- Ability to work to a height of 40 feet above ground on occasion, operate forklifts, man lifts, cherry pickers and other industrial vehicles
- Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution and Lighting Circuits with volage rating of DC to 500 Volts and AC to 13,800 volts.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.)
- Possess knowledge of relay control circuits, including AC, DC, drives
Overview : A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Electrician to work on-site in Milford, Connecticut for $41 / hr.
The first 6-12 months will be spent training on the first shift; however, once training is completed, this electrician will work the third shift (11 : 30PM to 7 : 30 AM).
This electrician will be in charge of working on custom machines built to manufacture the company's product. They will spend 50% of their time handling assembly, 40% on packaging, and 10% on ad hoc projects.
Ad hoc projects include the creation of new packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with a variety of groups, including managers and operators on a daily basis.
