Hire Up Staffing is currently searching for a Physical Therapist to join a highly recognized and reputable healthcare organization and their team immediately!
Shift : 8am 5pm, Monday - Friday
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assess and evaluate Pelvic Health / Pelvic Floor Dysfunction needs.
- Develop and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and goals.
- Complete and timely documentation per guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and healthcare students.
- Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities.
- Participate in additional department, organization, or network activities.
Education / License / Experience / Skills :
Required :
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- 3-5 years experience in Pelvic Health / Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas (in good standing).
- BLS certification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
- Effective problem-solving skills considering patient’s age, psychosocial, cultural, and religious background.
- Ability to assess and interact with patients and families using theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.
- Computer proficiency required; Microsoft Office preferred.
Preferred :
- Pelvic Health-related certification (e.g., APTA CAPP-OB, CAPP-Pelvic, PRPC, WCS, PHC).
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative and ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail.
