Overview :

This role involves working closely with the Event Technology team and Rainfocus to build out event templates in Rainfocus.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Rainfocus and be able to provide best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Event Technology and Rainfocus teams to develop event templates.
  • Implement best practices in the use of Rainfocus.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of event templates.

Preferred Skills :

  • Must-Have : Extensive knowledge and experience with Rainfocus.

Salesforce Strategic Events team is seeking a skilled registration operations manager for a -month contract. In this temporary role, you will manage the day-to-day registration operations for our diverse portfolio of free and paid events.

Your focus will be on ensuring operational excellence and supporting pre-event, on-site, and post-event planning. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in event technology, registration, and operational management, with the ability to quickly integrate into our team and drive successful outcomes.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners, agencies and vendors throughout the registration process.

You will collaborate with the Strategic Events team, to ensure the flawless execution of registration management. This role requires someone who can work independently while also taking direction from the Strategic Events leadership team to deliver a successful event registration experience within our event portfolio.

Responsibilities :

Oversee the implementation and management of registration modules using tools like Rainfocus, ensuring seamless registration experiences.

Act as the Registration Operations workstream lead for assigned Events, managing the end-to-end registration process from requirement gathering to on-site execution.

Work closely with teams including MarTech, housing, staffing, event technology, creative, procurement, sourcing, and demand generation to ensure successful registration deployment.

Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure proper configuration, implementation, testing, and launch of registration on the event platform.

Oversee the operations and execution of the registration and badge pickup experience, coordinating efforts with partner teams, vendors, and agencies.

Manage the Registration Operations workback schedule, ensuring alignment with event timelines and deliverables.

Regularly update key stakeholders on the progress of the Registration Operations workstream, providing clear and timely communication.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to data privacy and event communications.

Maintain detailed documentation and templates, while providing support to team members.

Travel on-site as required to manage event execution and ensure a successful registration experience.

Required Skills :

Experience : Minimum years of event registration experience, preferably within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Technical Skills : Familiarity with event management platforms, specifically Rainfocus, and the ability to oversee technical implementations.

Project Management : Highly organized with strong project and time management abilities, with experience overseeing complex projects with multi-stakeholders.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Adaptability : Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, prioritize tasks, and manage shifting priorities and last-minute changes.

Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and ensuring smooth operations.

Self-Motivation : A self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and meet strict deadlines.
