The Executive Clinical Director is responsible for leading a team of therapists to administer excellent client care to those with mental health and behavioral conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and in good standing Rhode Island LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD or PsyD required.
- 4+ years post-graduate clinical work
- 2+ years of providing supervision for unlicensed / initial licensed clinicians (ethics, case consultation, collaboration and training)
- 1+ year business or program operation experience (IOP, PHP, inpatient or other professional setting)
- Ability to implement and enforce program guidelines, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of records keeping, documenting, and filing.
- Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good standing.
- Preferred candidates should have sound understanding of mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and milieu therapy.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for individual caseload of 8-10 clients, interviewing, evaluation and development of treatment plans for patients, preparation of discharge summaries and / or continuing care plan.
- Complete clinical charting notes / forms in a timely, clear, concise and thorough manner.
- Reinforce clinical services and staff adherence to the practice’s standards, values, and quality of care.
- Assist in the coordination of communication and program interaction with outside medical, psychiatric, and psychological services.
- Provide quality care to clients and strive to continuously improve services delivered.
- Review Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency cases with CMO.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of clinical specialty to identify treatments, resources and long / short term care needs.
- Onboard new clinicians to clinical documentation, EMR tasks, and clinical expectations.
- Read all unlicensed clinicians progress notes, provide feedback, sign and lock.
- Periodically audit and review licensed clinicians documentation and provide feedback.
- Facilitate consultation group 2x per month.
- Facilitate supervision individually for LPCs and LSW 1x per week.
- Deliver therapist’s 60-day and annual evaluations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay : $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
