About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week for 3-12s Experience : Not specified License : Valid State License required (Missouri allows submission without license in hand) Certifications : EPIC charting experience required Must-Have : Flu Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description : Perform general diagnostic X-ray imaging and portable exams- Conduct fluoroscopy procedures including upper / lower G.
I., myelograms, LPs, and injections- Handle O.R. cases such as spine, ortho, pacers, cholecystectomy, cystoscopy, etc.- Ensure proficiency in EPIC charting system- Ability to manage daily caseloads of 100-200 cases per technician- Initial orientation includes 40 hours- Adjust work schedules to meet facility needs, though floating is not a requirement- Compliance with fit testing requirements, including facial hair regulations- Adhere to policies on requested time off, including restrictions on holiday work and maximum days off per contract- Completion of modules pre-start through designated systems- Maintain professionalism and follow guidelines for travel compliance and background policies
