Job elements :
Day by day basis, substitute setting
Full school hours
Within a K-12 caseload
General duties, more information provided on assignment
Pay rate is on an hourly basis and predetermined through school
Necessities :
Bachelors degree in Sign Language Interpreting, Deaf Education or related field
Appropriate licensure in practicing and residing states
Tech Savvy and comfortable using virtual platformsÂ
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
Must be able to pass a technical screening and internet speed test
Liability insurance; 500K / 500K coverage annually
2 years minimum previous school-based experience
