Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements :

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements :

Department of Defense TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.

S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.

S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES :

As a software engineer for the High Performance Computing Group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

• Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.

• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C / C++, Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
• Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.

While on-site, you will be a part of GDMS' Bloomington, MN facility.

Target salary range : USD $149,732.00 / Yr. - USD $162,015.00 / Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.
