M1 is looking for an QA Manager : Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the execution of Quality Control Programs of the Nellis Aircraft Maintenance and Mission Support programIAW with Performance Work Statement and in an appropriate manner acceptable to the customer.

Reports to the Program Manager and Company Quality Director as appropriate.Responsible for implementing all quality control and safety procedures and processes.

Supervises a dedicated number of technicians supporting program quality control and safety programs.Ensures the collection of data and analyses of that data to identify trends and monitor the effectiveness of QualityPrograms.

Responsible for developing the program Quality Management Plan and updating processes and procedures.Plans / authors the Monthly Inspection and Evaluation Schedule and publishes the plan on a monthly basis.

Reviews in-process and final Quality Control Inspections of all maintenance actions, which involve safety of flight orwhich require the aircraft to have a functional check flight.

Audits procedural elements of program management.Reviews technical publications and directive for applicability.Investigates safety incidents and prepares unsatisfactory reports, quality trend analysis reports, quality evaluationrecords, and other QC records as required by the customer, the contract and the Program Manager.

Consults with management team in determining root cause analyses.Coordinate all efforts to ensure 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions inaccordance with PWS requirements.

Comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance quality control procedures.Attends applicable meetings as required.Maintains surveillance over operations and activities to detect areas of accident or injury potential, unsafe acts orconditions and takes immediate action to correct unsatisfactory situations.

Ensures quality training for all sections and departments.Directs, plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates the operations and personnel assigned in Quality Management,Training, Safety and Environmental areas.

Supervises, controls and provides resources to expedite flow of communication in a secure and expeditious manner.Manages the Certification / Re-certification training programs.

Maintains a quality control database suitable to track quality control discrepancies for historical and trend data analysispurposes as well as to conform to any PWS requirements.

Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner.Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements : Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree is mandatory. 15 years Air Force aircraft maintenance experience is mandatory with supervisory experience AS9110C Lead Auditor certified 5 years AF Quality Assurance / AF Inspection / Quality Auditor experience Knowledge of fighter aircraft and maintenance support and Air Force maintenance procedures is mandatory.

Must have an in depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft / vehicle movement, flight lineoperations, aircraft technical orders / job guides / publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics,diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications).

Must have a working knowledge of computers (input / extract data) and basic computer software programs such asWord, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.

Obtain / maintain security clearance. Current valid U.S. Driver's License. Must speak, read, write, and understand English.

Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping,bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
