Mechanical Assembler
Looking for a fun and challenging assembler position with a leading equipment manufacturer? This could be for you! Our client is looking for a responsible Mechanical Assembler who can work on a variety of finished products in the air blast equipment space.
This person is familiar with utilizing blueprints, schematics, and written process procedures.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assemble various sub-assemblies, reclaimers, dust collectors, and shot blasting equipment using written procedures, drawings, and simple hand and power tools as needed.
- Examine and test subassemblies and final goods.
- Notify supervisor of any shortages of materials and documentation errors
- Preserve a tidy and safe workspace
Qualifications :
- High school education or equivalent is required; trade school with electrical and mechanical training is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment.
- Must own commonly used hand tools and measuring devices.
Essential Skills and Experience :
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Ability to follow methods and procedures.
- Must be able to work independently as needed.
- Proficiency using hand, power, and measuring tools.
- Knowledge of electrical assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail and quality oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule : Monday-Thursday 6AM-4 : 30PM / Friday 6AM-10AM
Occasional Weekends as necessary (Saturday 6AM-12PM)
Location : NE Indianapolis
Pay Range : $22-$24 / hr.
