Generations Healthcare Network has a new opportunity for an Admissions Director with at least 1-2 years of experience managing Admissions in a skilled nursing facility .
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Director of Admissions who will utilize their knowledge and experience to provide census growth working collaboratively with the facility's Hospital Liaison, Administrator, Director of Nursing, physicians, hospital discharge staff, managed care organizations, social workers and the community at large.
You'll need :
- Exceptional communication, writing and oral presentation skills
- Experience and knowledge of the needs of long-term care facilities
- Ability to identify barriers and develop recommendations for possible solutions
- Effectively address concerns and issues with team members in leadership roles
- Professional presentation skills and to be a good listener
- A compassionate heart for those needing skilled nursing care and their families
- Have a "self-starter," confident personality
- Proven ability to work in sometimes stressful situations and exercise good judgement
This is a salaried position with full-time benefits. The salary range is between $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
It is a 40 hour a week job on average, but you'll need to be available by cell phone if the facility needs your advice. The position reports into the Administrator at the facility.

Requirements :
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an Admissions Director (or similar title) in skilled nursing settings
- In addition to being willing to travel to facilities in the Chicago area, there will be some travel to facilities in northwestern Illinois and northeastern Indiana, requiring overnight stays.
- Willingness to take call when needed to assist with an admission
- Working knowledge of the patient referral process for Long-Term Care
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing preferred but will accept other training and experience
