Responsibilities

The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the Company's day-to-day revenue accounting operations in accordance with ASC 606.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing sales orders and invoices, processing monthly revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable journal entries, account reconciliations, managing the accounts receivable function, collections outreach & schedules, and monthly fluctuation analysis.

This position will report into the Director of Revenue and will be expected to work cross-functionally & build relationships across multiple departments.

• Support maintaining ASC 606 revenue subledger, including subscription, professional services, and billing subledgers.
• Support sales order management and billing to ensure timely, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting of revenue-generating transactions.
• Assist with on-going projects for streamlining and automation of the revenue recognition and collections processes.
• Provide timely and professional responses to customer billing inquiries.
• Review SalesForce opportunities for completeness and accuracy of evidence of contractual terms such as amounts, start and end dates, and special terms.
• Partner with the Sales and Revenue Operations teams to comply with internal policies and GAAP.
• Review and analyze customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
• Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of revenue recognition processes and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for general financial operations, as needed, to support business and any other special projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of related experience in revenue accounting
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience with ASC 606 accounting guidance
• Strong accountability and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and thrive while also contributing to team goals and objectives
• Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and messaging skills

Desired Qualifications

• CPA and / or public accounting experience
• Experience with high-growth SaaS / Technology industry
• Experience with SalesForce, NetSuite, and NetSuite ARM
• Experience scaling Revenue and Accounts Receivable operations

The annual base salary listed below for this role is based on experience, skills, education, relevant training and geographic location.

Company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, and benefits are available depending on the role.

The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on qualifications, professional experiences, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and other job related factors.

Pay Range

$115,000-$130,000 USD
