About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on groundbreaking projects that involve applying data science and machine learning techniques to process raw, unlabeled data and extract valuable insights about browsers and devices.

Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing our smart signals product and fostering a data-driven culture within our team.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze data to identify correlations and insights.
• Develop and implement automation for manual data processing approaches.
• Apply ML methodologies to various problems, particularly around correlation analysis and data visualization.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to share insights with the team.
• Utilize SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Qualifications :

• Experienced in data science and ML, with a focus on practical, hands-on implementation.
• Proficient in web technologies and handling high-volume, data-intensive tasks.
• Knowledge of classic ML algorithms and unsupervised machine learning, especially in the context of anti-fraud and bot detection using tabular data.
• Familiar with bringing ML models to production, including containerization and deployment.

Preferred Attributes :

• A generalist capable of handling a variety of tasks rather than focusing on one specific area.
• Independent and capable of working in a small, agile team environment.
• Not focused on ML Ops but rather on universal data science and ML application.

Additional Notes :

• The engineer will be entering an 'unknown world' where innovative and automated solutions are required.
• The role does not involve working with large language models (LLMs).

$152-205k For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.

In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

Offers vary depending on, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications / licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.

Due to regulatory and security reasons, there’s a small number of countries where we cannot have Fingerprint teammates based.

Additionally, because Fingerprint is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas.
